Point Arrow works with Arrow Mailing List Server for Windows.
In the "List" menu, Arrow has an option to "announce" your mailing list. When you announce your list using Arrow's "Announce" option, you will receive an email (within a few days) describing how to add a site supporting your mailing list to Point Arrow. Visitors to your site will be able to subscribe to your list, manage their list settings, and view/search archived messages from your list.
As an example, Arrow's Point Arrow site is at:
http://www.pointarrow.com/site3.html
When you view the message archive, email addresses in the archive will be hidden. If you become a member of Arrow's Point Arrow site by registering at Point Arrow and requesting to become a member of the site, the addresses will be shown when you view the messages.
Instructions for becoming a member are displayed on the site once you log in.
When you create your own site at Point Arrow, you can select who can view the message archive. You can also control what list commands can be sent through Point Arrow and what topic your site is listed under.
To create a site at Point Arrow, select your list in Arrow. Then select "Properties" from Arrow's "List" menu. Click the "Identification" tab and make sure the moderator's name and email address are correct. Then select the "Announce" option from the "List" menu. Enter a description of your list then click "Send Info." The next time Arrow processes your list, it will send an email to jadebox.com. In return a message will be sent to the moderator's address describing how to set up your Point Arrow site.
